Pilates

Pilates is a body conditioning technique designed to stretch, strengthen & balance the body. Targeting the deep postural muscles, it is excellent for correcting posture, realigning the body & improving coordination, concentration & control.

Beginners Pilates

If you are new to Pilates or feel you need to recap your knowledge you will need to attend a Pilates Basics workshop before joining the regular classes. To register your interest for the next session click here. Alternatively if you are unable to attend the next group session, you can do your beginners session on a 1-2-1 basis. Mixed Level Pilates

These sessions cover strength & flexibility with more advanced options for those who are ready to progress. To book please click on your chosen session.

Restorative Pilates

Ideal for those wanting a slower pace class that concentrates on posture, alignment, balance & flexibility. To book please click on your chosen session.

These sessions are for participants who have done Pilates for a while but still want that slower approach.

Restorative Pilates 1

Perfect for those new to pilates (& have completed a beginners session) or are progressing from Rehab Pilates. If you are new to Mind Body Maintenance, please contact us before booking this class.

Rehab Pilates:

These small group courses are suitable for those looking for rehabilitation & remedial exercise as a result of injury or medical condition. Going right back to basics to build strength, improve movement & aid recovery, these sessions are tailored for the individual.  At home practice is often included to get the most out of the course.

Rehab Pilates Starter Course

Designed for all new comers to Rehab Pilates, these sessions are 30-40mins long & are limited to 6 people per course. Attendance on entire course is essential as is the at home practice.

Rehab Pilates Continuation

These sessions are for anyone who has completed the starter course or who has done pilates prior to injury & has progressed well with their rehab. These 30-40 min sessions have the same approach as the starter session with more repetitions & variations. Limited to 8 per session it is a great way to progress. To book the next course, please contact us here to discuss your suitability for the session. It may be possible to start with a few 1-2-1 sessions before joining this course.

Rehab Pilates Improvers

These courses are for those who have progressed through the starter & continuation courses & are ready for a bit more of a challenge These session run for 45 minutes & are limited. Please click here to register your interest.

Chair Pilates

Our combined Yoga & Pilates chair class is suitable for anyone not happy getting on & off the floor & who wants a slower approach to exercises. Using elements of Pilates & Yoga performed either seated in the chair or standing with the support of the chair, this fun class can help build strength, increase flexibility & improve posture & balance.
