Yoga is an ancient art based on harmonising the development of body, mind & spirit. It is a practical aid not a religion that aims to boost physical & mental wellbeing using physical postures, breathing techniques & reflective practices. Our yoga classes are taught with a contemporary feel, using music & modern day musings to show Yoga’s relevance in today’s world & its ability to address the modern pressures of stress, mental health & physical limitations. The aim is to provide a holistic approach to well-being, combining physical posture, breathwork & mindfulness to cultivate physical & mental resilience. We look at managing stress & anxiety, improving flexibility & strength & promoting a greater sense of self-awareness & connection.

This class combines steady flowing movements linking one pose to another with holding of poses to find stillness & quieten the mind. The rhythmic flow can help boost energy & health while the stillness & breathing promotes a focused mind & mental clarity.

Our combined Yoga & Pilates chair class is suitable for anyone not happy getting on & off the floor & who wants a slower approach to exercises. Using elements of Pilates & Yoga performed either seated in the chair or standing with the support of the chair, this fun class can help build strength, increase flexibility & improve posture & balance. A practice to slow down a busy mind & open the body through passive stretching. Beneficial to those who suffer from stress & anxiety or who simply have a busy life. This class promotes deep relaxation.
Unwind after a busy week with a candlelit yoga session. Candlelight can have a calming effect on the mind & help reduce stress and increase self-awareness. These classes will combine a gentle flow, yin & restorative yoga. Suitable for all levels.
